Our Services/
CPQ Solutions

A sales rep who can’t quote accurately and quickly isn’t selling — they’re administrating.

Complex product catalogues, tiered pricing, volume discounts, customer-specific agreements, and approval matrices for large deals make manual quoting slow, error-prone, and, frankly, embarrassing in front of a customer.

CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) automates the entire quoting process inside Salesforce — so your reps can generate an accurate, professionally formatted quote in minutes, not days, guided by proven Salesforce CPQ documentation and best practices.

CPQ Solution

If the answer is more than 30 minutes, CPQ will change your sales process. Let’s talk.

Is This You?

  • Your reps are building quotes in Excel and sending them as email attachments

  • Pricing errors and discounting inconsistencies are eating into margin

  • Large deals sit in an approval queue for days waiting for a manager to sign off

  • Your product catalogue has hundreds of SKUs with complex bundles, options, and constraints

  • Renewals and contract amendments are managed manually in spreadsheets

  • Finance and sales are using different price lists and it’s causing invoicing errors

What CPQ Does

CPQ sits inside Salesforce and guides your sales rep through three steps — Configure (select the right products and options), Price (apply the right pricing rules, discounts, and customer-specific terms), Quote (generate a formatted document ready to send to the customer). Every step is governed by rules your business defines — so reps can’t make pricing mistakes, quote discontinued products, or offer discounts above their authority level. This is where skilled Salesforce CPQ consultants and certified experts with Salesforce CPQ specialist certification make a measurable difference.

Our CPQ Implementation Process

We document your product catalogue, pricing model, discount structures, approval authority matrix, and quote document requirements. This discovery phase often surfaces inconsistencies in pricing logic that exist across the business — and resolving them before CPQ implementation makes the project significantly smoother.

We build your product catalogue in Salesforce, configure pricing rules, discount schedules, and constraint logic.

We map and build the approval workflow — who approves what, at what threshold, with what SLA.

We design your branded quote document template with all required sections, dynamic content blocks, and terms and conditions.

End-to-end testing with your sales team using real products and pricing scenarios — including edge cases, approval escalations, and bundle constraint validation.

Sales team training with real scenarios from your catalogue. Supported go-live with hypercare for the first two weeks.

A Note on Salesforce CPQ End of Sale

Salesforce has announced the End of Sale for Steelbrick CPQ (the legacy product). Existing customers can continue using it, but new purchases are no longer available. The strategic direction is Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA).
As experienced Salesforce CPQ partners and trusted Salesforce CPQ consultants, we advise all clients on the right path — whether that means implementing RCA from the start, extending the life of an existing CPQ implementation, or evaluating modern third-party CPQ alternatives. We won’t push you towards the most expensive option — we’ll recommend what’s right for your business scale and complexity.

FAQ

Our product catalogue is very complex — hundreds of SKUs with option sets. Can CPQ handle it?

Yes — complex catalogues are exactly where CPQ delivers the most value. The more complex your products and pricing, the more time and errors CPQ eliminates. We’ve implemented CPQ for catalogues with thousands of products, multi-level bundles, and highly customised pricing logic.

Should we implement Salesforce CPQ or Revenue Cloud Advanced?

For most businesses, the decision comes down to your existing Salesforce setup, your Salesforce contract, and the complexity of your revenue recognition requirements. We’ll walk you through the comparison objectively in the consultation — including total cost of ownership, implementation complexity, and migration requirements if you’re already on legacy CPQ.

How long does CPQ implementation take?

A straightforward CPQ implementation for a product catalogue of moderate complexity typically takes 10-14 weeks. Complex implementations with many product bundles, custom approval matrices, and e-signature integration can take 16-24 weeks. We scope every project individually.

Can CPQ integrate with our ERP for order management?

Yes — post-quote order creation in your ERP is one of the most common integrations we build alongside CPQ. A customer accepts a quote, an order is automatically created in Salesforce and pushed to the ERP — no re-keying. See our Integration Services page for more detail.
