Implementation & Salesforce Integration

Your teams are already in Slack. The question is whether Slack is actually working — or just adding another place to miss messages.

Slack is powerful out of the box and transformational when configured correctly. Most organisations deploy it and leave it at defaults — disconnected from their CRM, their service workflows, and their data. We connect Slack to your Salesforce org so your teams get the right context, in the right channel, at the right moment.

Integration Services

We’ve implemented Slack across sales, service, operations, and field teams — and we know exactly where friction hides.

What We Deploy

The right configuration for every team.

Slack isn’t one product — it’s a platform with channels, workflows, apps, and deep Salesforce integration. Getting value from it means knowing which capabilities to enable for which teams, and connecting it to the systems that hold your actual business data.

  Slack for Sales Teams

Salesforce Sales Cloud connected to Slack — deal alerts, opportunity updates, and CRM record actions directly in channel. Reps stay in Slack; nothing falls out of the pipeline.

  Slack for Service & Support

Case notifications, escalation alerts, and Salesforce Service Cloud case management integrated into your support channels. Faster triage, full context, no tab-switching.

  Slack + Agentforce

Surface Agentforce agents directly in Slack — employees get AI assistance in the tools they already use, without navigating to a separate interface.

  Workflow Builder Automation

Custom automations that eliminate repetitive manual steps — approval requests, onboarding checklists, deal desk workflows, and internal handoffs, all triggered automatically.

  Salesforce App for Slack

Full configuration of the native Salesforce for Slack app — including record previews, update flows, notification rules, and custom actions that write back to your CRM.

  Channel Architecture & Governance

A channel structure that scales — naming conventions, access controls, retention policies, and guest access configuration that prevents Slack from becoming an ungoverned archive.

What We Configure

Everything under the hood.

Connecting Slack to Salesforce is straightforward. Connecting it correctly — with the right triggers, the right data surfaces, and the right access controls — is an implementation project.

We configure every layer: workspace setup, Salesforce integration, Workflow Builder automations, permission boundaries, notification architecture, and channel governance. No defaults left unreviewed.

  • Workspace structure, channel taxonomy, and naming conventions

  • Salesforce for Slack app installation and OAuth configuration

  • Record alert rules — which objects, which events, which channels

  • Workflow Builder automations for approvals, handoffs, and checklists

  • Salesforce record update actions directly from Slack messages

  • Agentforce surface configuration within Slack

  • Permission and access model — public, private, and restricted channels

  • Guest access configuration for client-facing channels

  • Data retention and compliance policy setup

  • Integration testing across Salesforce environments (sandbox → production)

How We Do It

5 stages. No loose ends.

Every Slack implementation follows the same structured approach — because a poorly configured integration surfaces the wrong data to the wrong people, and an unstructured workspace becomes unmanageable inside six months.

We review your current Salesforce org, existing Slack workspace (if any), team structure, and integration requirements. We document which teams need which data surfaces, what automations will reduce manual work, and what governance policies need to be in place before go-live.

We design your channel structure, integration architecture, Workflow Builder automation map, and permission model — all documented and signed off before any configuration begins. You know exactly what you’re getting.

We configure the Salesforce for Slack app, set up all notification and alert rules, build Workflow Builder automations, and implement any custom actions. All work is done in a sandbox environment against your actual Salesforce data model.

We run structured testing across every integration point — triggers fire correctly, records surface accurately, actions write back to Salesforce without errors, and permissions behave as designed. Nothing goes to production without sign-off.

We manage the production deployment, run user enablement sessions for each team, and provide documentation for ongoing administration. We stay on hand post-launch to tune automations based on real usage patterns.

What You Get

Slack that works with your business, not alongside it.

  • Real-Time Salesforce Signals

Deal closures, case escalations, lead assignments, and approval requests surface instantly in the right channels — without anyone manually posting an update.

  • Fewer Handoff Failures

Workflow Builder automations eliminate the manual steps that fall through the cracks — approvals, onboarding tasks, and cross-team handoffs happen automatically.

  • CRM Actions Without Leaving Slack

Reps update opportunity stages, log calls, and move deals forward directly from Slack messages — keeping your Salesforce data clean without changing where people work.

  • AI in the Flow of Work

Agentforce surfaces in Slack mean your AI capabilities are accessible where your teams already spend their day — not in a separate interface no one remembers to open.

  • Governance That Scales

A channel structure and permission model designed to stay manageable as your team grows — no sprawl, no sensitive data in the wrong place, no compliance blind spots.

  • Post-Launch Optimisation

We tune your automations based on real-world usage after go-live. Workflow Builder configurations that look right in testing often need adjustment once actual usage patterns emerge — and we’re there to do it.

Use Cases

Implementations we’ve delivered.

B2B Technology

Sales pipeline alerts reducing deal slippage by 35%

A SaaS company integrated Salesforce Sales Cloud with Slack so every stage change, new high-value lead, and stalled opportunity triggered a real-time channel alert. Deal slippage dropped as reps responded to signals within minutes rather than reviewing CRM reports at end of day.

Professional Services

Approval workflow automation cutting decision time from 3 days to 4 hours

A consulting firm replaced an email-based approval chain for project change requests with a Workflow Builder automation — request triggered in Slack, reviewed by the right approver in-channel, with decision written back to Salesforce automatically. No chasing, no lost threads.

Field Services

Case escalation channel reducing average resolution time by 28%

A field service organisation set up automated Salesforce Service Cloud escalation alerts into a dedicated Slack channel — priority cases surfaced instantly to the right team leads, with full case context, without anyone needing to monitor a CRM queue.

A Note on Configuration

We will always design your Slack integration around how your teams actually work — not around what looks impressive in a demo. If your Salesforce data model isn’t clean enough to surface reliable alerts, we’ll fix the foundation first. If your team doesn’t need Agentforce in Slack yet, we won’t configure it. The goal is a Slack environment your teams use every day, not one they abandon after three weeks.

Questions about Slack implementation.

  • Do we need a paid Slack plan to integrate with Salesforce?

  • What does the native Salesforce for Slack app actually do vs. a custom integration?

  • Can Workflow Builder automate processes across Salesforce and Slack simultaneously?

  • How do we control which Salesforce data surfaces in which Slack channels?

  • Can Agentforce agents work inside Slack, or only in Salesforce?

  • We already have Slack set up — can you improve what we have without rebuilding it?
